Mom's Secret Whole Wheat Pancake Recipe
Hungry for pancakes? Then try my mother's pancakes. Here is her "secret" recipe. Don't tell anybody.

2 cups of whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 teapoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons each of wheat germ and oat bran
2 cups of buttermilk
2 eggs
4 tablespoons oil

Beat buttermilk, eggs, and oil together. Add dry ingredients, mix well. The batter will be thick. Bake on 400 degree grill.

Make them at home or stay at Rosendale Inn Bed and Breakfast, a unique Shenandoah Valley Bed and Breakfast, and let my mother, Juanita, make them for you. Just don't tell her where you got the recipe. By the way, she usually serves them with strawberries and fresh farm cream. I'm going to have my pancakes now.
